What does anybody see in Berbatov? At least in terms of being Man U quality?

The team as a whole has been playing much better, so Valencia's contributions haven't stood out as much. In the last 10-15 min though, Wigan has been able to make some dangerous runs and Valencia lost the ball a couple of times.

This is not Wigan anymore. There's 10 other really good players out there.

Man U should be winning 2-0 at least. The team is creating the plays, but Rooney has been unlucky, Berbatov is TOO slow, and Fletcher and Scholes missed two EASY chances.

Damn, man united looks like they are going to be fighting relegation like wigan, they miss sitters, they don't seem to know what they want to do with the ball.... Valencia will be a unarguable starter... As RIGHT BACK ! He has more steals and interceptions than any defender,,,,, buttttt what the hell happened to the valencia who used to cut back, throw in half a step over, he really does only do that one move now.

Valencias one move is tirrrrriiinnnnnnngggg, he isn't very confident at the moment, and would it hurt him to smile?. Either way his most impressive attribute is his back track he had more steals than most defenders for both teams.

I hate to say "I told you so", but....I TOLD YOU SO.

Today's a perfect example of this. Wigan were playing very tough, and with the 0-0 at halftime, the hardest part for Man U was getting the first goal. Valencia now has guys with goalscoring instinct like Rooney, Berbatov, and Owen to cross to...so you know at some point one of those crosses is going to find a man.

Everybody talking about Valencia's "one move" - but like I said, it doesn't really matter because the defender might stop it once or twice, but the third time Valencia will blow by him, put in a cross, and the game's over. It's really hard to stop, and SAF realizes that which is why he started today and not Park.

I don't know, my boy figueroa isn't the fastest or strongest left back in the premier so we can't really pass judgement on his stop and sprint move.
All I can say is I rather have him do that than falling down and claiming to be poked in the eye,, anyone catch that? Lol valencias shoulda gotten a yellow for that one.

Yeah, that's exactly what made the crowd start booing him several times. that didn't faze him though, immediately after that he put in that beautiful cross and pretty soon they all shut up :D

I remember a game in giants stadium (I think it was against el salvador) where alex aguinaga's brother played and he tried to pull this same shit.. Man that was embarrassing. At least he got a yellow that time.
