When would they broadcast them? They have a lot of commitments already with other leagues.

They'll be in better shape in three years. They've bought up a lot of important rights from Italy, Spain, and US away friendlies. That'll help them get distribution. Their biggest program now is that they only have one channel...

Well, I'll put a different spin on it.

They're saying 6 games a week so I'd assume that means 6 games a matchday, which means 228 games a year on TV. That's pretty decent IMO.

Compare to what we have now - OK, let's just say that there is 7 games live + 3 SDD, but how many of them are easily accessible? Many people don't have FS+, because it costs $15/mo or simply don't have it on their cable provider (notably national cable provider Comcast). Also in many areas Fox Soccer is not in HD.

It sounds like with NBC we will have all games on fairly basic channels, including 18-20 of them in one year of national broadcast on free over-the-air. That's around every other week of having a game on NBC main channel. That's big for exposure.

Also, the remainder of them will be on NBC streaming service (or so they are saying). Which mean you will have the ability to watch EVERY game. And you don't have that now.

That's important. I'd hate to hear some guy sitting in a studio at 30 Rock doing the commentary.

ESPN2 don't seem to have made an official announcement which game they have yet,
though I wouldn't hold my breath.

ESPN3 + ESPN Deportes are confirmed, and will be showing us live.

BeIN... that's too bad. Remind me, do they have the complete rights to the League Cup this year?

FYI, those of you with Dish Network, you no longer have to subscribe to the Top 200 package to get FSC. FSC is available in the Top 120+ package and/or the $10/month sports package. I cut my bill by $20/month when I noticed this because the only reason I went to the 200 package was for FSC.

You know, that's what I thought, too. But FSC tweeted that info. I don't know what that's all about.

Which means a dodgy stream for most of us who are going to try to catch it live. Or perhaps better to just watch it later on Arsenal Player.
