Yeah, I agree, a tough match. But having there really isn't a home advantage in this match other than for away goals. :D I just hope the Red Army has a big turnout in the match, because Velez will need all the support we can get. A draw here would be brilliant because it'd either mean A) a 0-0 draw, no away goals, but we go into the next leg knowing all we need is a win. or B) 1-1 draw or above means we have an away goal advantage in the next match. So, I''m really glad we're playing away in the first fixture. I think this will be the result for leg one:

    Zrinjski 1-1 Velez

This would definitely be nice to see for us Velez fans. It'd also put Zrinjski fans down in the dumps. :D :p

I think its an advantage for Velez to play the first leg away to Zrinjski.

The team needs to put all of this to the side and concentrate on the upcoming matches. N/FSBiH will continue to punish us with anything they can get away with because they know that under normal circumstances, with quality we have, winning this league would not be too difficult.

Tomorrow we play a Cup match against Rudar (home). Assuming that the two suspensions apply to Cup matches, we will be missing Torlak and Suljic. Next to Kojasevic, these two have probably been the most important players so far in the season. Sesar also has a broken finger (from the first half against SB). Although none could replace Torlak, we still have very decent replacements with players such as Dupovac, Maksumic, K. Handzic, H. Handzic, Hadzic, and Bajraktarevic as some of the candidates for all three. On Saturday/Sunday, we play Rudar again in a non-Cup match, this time away. May the force be with us.

Here is an interview with Suad Muzurovic, FK Sarajevo director (before the two suspensions and the 2.500 KM fine):

"Velež je poveo golom Rijada Demića u samoj završnici, a onda su Ultrasi utrčali u teren. Gostujući igrači odmah su ušli u svlačionice i očigledno da ni na ovom stadionu, danas, ne postoje uslovi za igru. Pa dokad više?"

Just read that the game will continue. I was hoping to see at least a three match day ban because we play these guys (away) after our next two games. Velez scored in extra time :).

    Sarajevo – Rudar Prijedor 3:0 (Džafić 1, Kojašević 15 – penal, Obuća 65).

Fadil Cizmic (Sarajevo II) made his debut in this game. He is a 20 year-old CB who played as RB in this game. We really got to strengthen this RB position because even Comor is a CB playing in the RB position. Plisek basically said that he is especially satisfied with this young fellow: "Posebno bih za današnji nastup pohvalio mladog Čizmića, koji je na terenu zamijenio Čomora i pokazao da se upornim i napornim radom može dogurati do prve ekipe."

Rudar decided to play a weaker squad for this game, resting all of their starting defensive players. Their coach basically said that they cannot play both the Cup and the PL. Our next game be will away and victory will be more important to Rudar this time. But we've also played a weaker squad and I expect us to beat them again.

i think we have the strength and the depth to fight on both fronts

rudar are a tough team to play away especially if they're starters are going to be rested but I think we can do it even without our two suspended guys

That player that tried to trip the Velez player should be suspended for 10 games. Unbelievable. And he's a U-21 Bosnia player!

    ---

We did well to create plenty of chances, take advantage of them, and most importantly, at least to me, KEEP A CLEAN SHEET. The defense seems to have turned a corner and this team is back in it, mentally and physically.

    Go get em boys.

    Well done Velez!

A bunch of scum inbred racist nationalists that don't even deserve to live and breathe. That little prick weasel ustasa Mile Pehar deserves to get chocked the ******** out and every one of his teeth knocked out.

Why is our FA so concerned about punishing FK Sarajevo for no reason and not harshly punishing teams like Zrinjski?

First of all guys lets not call anyone names their action spoke for themselves of who they are and how they act.

The FA should make it a 10k fine, the field should be more secure for players, they are entertainers and athletes.

If the Offense occurs again the team is suspended for 3 games resulting in a win for the other teams that they are supposed to play.

Third time this happens automatic suspension for the rest of the season and automatic drop to the lower division for next season

The only way you set an example is by upping the fine and everything else.

Which means... 50,000 KM fine for Zrinjski, 6 pts deduction, 0-3 win for Velez, and stadium fan ban for the entire season.

One season ban for Mile Pehar & possibly jail time for attempting to indirectly kill another footballer. Also, permanent ban from the Bosnian national team (not that he was even good to get a callup to begin with; he's a pathetic player that can't even play better than my grandma - why not Suljic or Cajic over him?).

Fans who jumped in and started chasing the players should be identified and convicted to atleast half a year in prison.

What an awesome win. But the fans and players showed their true colors today, and I really hope they get severely punished. I can't wait to smash them in the return leg at home, should be a great game for all Velez fans/players. And, btw, now we all see who the best club in Mostar is (if you didn't know before), VELEZ MOSTAR. ;)
