    Re: Euro 2012 Qualifying Draw.

What I feel would be the best draw for us:

    Portugal
    Romania
    Austria
    Cyprus
    Armenia

What would be a Mountain to climb:

    Portugal
    Greece
    Ireland
    Slovenia
    Albania

What are the odds we get back to back tough draws?

The odds of us getting back to back bad draws, given that we already got one, is the same as getting a bad draw! Hopefully we get a little lucky, but we should be good enough to qualify from any group.

Lichtenstein got out of the last pot! Watch out for them!

Wow, Slovenia just made it to the WC and are on Pot 4 for the Euro qualifiers. That has to suck for them.

I agree with both, except that I wouldn't mind getting Greece and lay that demon to rest. I really want to make my Greek friends shut up about how easy it is to win against us. :)

I don't know about that. Even if we do win, they will still throw the whole euro04 crap in our face. My manager is Greek. :(

It will stay in the Portuguese NT history until we win a Euro final. It's the first final we ever reached in the European Championships.

Don't wish N.Ireland, they are tough. They beat both Denmark and Spain!! in the last Euro qualifier. Lots of fight, and dangerous finish, and their homefield can be as bad as Bosnias, giving classical kick and rush ideal conditions.

Draw will be Feb 7th ..
    if we play our cards right, and start integrating all of our good young talent (which we should have been doing for the past year) i believe 2012 could be a year in which alot of our players are either in there prime, or just approaching it ...should be exciting qualifier..i look forward to seeing whether guys like;

    Coentrao
    Varela
    Micael
    Carrico
    Fernandes
    Veloso

whether guys of this nature can lead us, along with the likes of Ronaldo, Nani etc..

Just hope there were some headbutts involved. A fight isn't a fight without some included.

It's not that easy. All are acessible but they're not easy, even Cyprus.

    Re: Euro 2012 Qualifying Draw.

We could of had it much worse.

What's with the scandanvian draws? I liked it when we had all Baltic teams.

But seriously the Denmark games will be good to watch and I think we won't be so complacent as we were in the first game. Norway is a good side but beatable (if Netherlands can beat them twice so can we) Iceland and Cyprus are teams capale of an upset but in reality if we go 100% we should win.

The best part of the draw is that there are only 5 teams in our group.
