Now that we've seen that a futbol stadium can be built in Colombia, I think the Federación and Dimayor should try and "MLS-ish" expansion of the Copa Mustang by making an open call for investors in order to "award two franchises" (or give two Dimayor fichas) to investors who submit proposals to build new stadiums, one in Bogotá and one in Medellin. But these two new teams would not at all be like promoted teams. Such investors that earn those teams would have to demonstrate a solid capital backing not just the stadium but also the funds for building the squad for at least the first 5 years. And obviously, knowing how slow things are done in Colombia, those new teams wouldn't be allowed to enter the league until their stadium is built. That oughta make things happen.
