kevin doyle leaves readings and is now in the premier league playing for the wolves.
jay o'shea of irelands own galway United was signed to birmingham city fc. making it to the premier league for the first time.
good luck to both athletes in the start of an exciting season
jay o'shea got props after a friendly last night good for him. sounds like the team might be short a few players the start of the season so possible that he might get a shot on the first team
Jay O'Shea made his Premiership debut last week, but was an unused sub tonight. Good to see him progressing.
Was quite impressed wtih Chris McCann for Burnley tonight vs Man U, and extremely impressed with Andy Keogh for Wolves last night. Bagged himself a goal (glancing header) and hit the post as well.
Lots of young Irish players breaking into Premiership teams this year - good to see.
yup yup excited to see doyle and jayyo had a short run yes with a few good touches
Stephen Hunt scores the first goal of the premiership season , John O'Shea captains Man Utd. - what an honour for the Waterford man !
Keogh was impressive again today against City, Given looks in top form. O'Shea another solid performance today. Looking forward to see what Duff has to offer against me blues tomorrow.
As I'm sure you're all aware of, former St. Pat's player Keith Fahey's played in every one of Birmingham City's Premier League games this season.
Also, on a more obscure note, former Castle Villa and Kildare County winger Bryan Byrne won the PDL Championship in the United States just recently. The PDL is the 4th tier ... same team as Anton Peterlin, now of Everton.
Well Duff didn't do much against Chelsea. But Andy Reid had a good night against an albiet poor Norwich side tonight. Trap must call him up to the squad, Liam Miller isn't even training or playing regularly and he's been included. Looks like Reid has been training hard all summer..
6 Irish goals in the Premiership this weekend.... 4 from Robbie Keane; 1 each from Doyle and O'Shea.
I wonder when the last time that happened was?
i take it know alot of Irish players in England and scotland yea?
