Between the three groups, group B is the toughest one and some exciting matches are expected from this group. Iran, Iraq and Kuwait are very strong and Afghanistan is considered a real underdog. However, Afghanistan has a strong group of fans between the Afghan immigrants in Mashad, only if the Iranian government lets the immigrants to purchase tickets.

It is not only soccer. The Games include around 30 sports. And yes, there are 17 sports included for women too, including football.

Iraq is going to participate with the Olympic (U-23) team, read that other countries will do the same.

Most of the matches, if not all of them won't be A matches.

Over the usage of the word "Persian Gulf", Iran lost hostship of the 2nd Solidarity Games. The future of the games is vague at this time.

its a pity to see such a potentially good event but being postponed or not organised properly.

I mean if proper communication and "unity" these games could bring together muslim nations.
