Asian Youth Championship draw on May 5 in China (where the finals will be held).
Bahrain, North Korea and Uzbekistan are our opponents at the finals. I think it's doable with the right prepation.
Friendly in Jordan: Iraq 1 - Egypt 2
Jordan 0 - Iraq 0
Not impressed, this team needs alot of work and the Asian Champions already starts in few weeks.
Friendly: UAE 2 - Iraq 1
A second friendly tomorrow.
Iraq vs bahrain on sunday... any1 know what channels it going to be broadcasted on. It says aljazeera sport 5 or something like that on goalzz.com but i dont have that channel
Would really appreciate a link
ive heard that iraqis say "soccer keep them togther". I was wondering if iraqis actually watch u-15 and u-19 soccer?
Dude if it was U-6 and Iraq was playing and the game was broadcasted i would be the first one to watch.
Btw whats this? is this the same team that won all their matches in the group? and now have lost all their friendly matches? wtf...makes no sense
They're just meaningless friendlies, results don't matter there.
One hour to go until the first match. Good luck to the boys.
Abu Dhabi Sport is sending the match
HT 1-0 to Iraq
Wow the U-19 is just wow, they have it all. Love too see them when they dribble, the only thing that they need to do better is the finishing
Hope the match ends at least 3-0
GOOOAAAL for Iraq.
End of the first half 1-0 for Iraq. Aliraqiya is showing the game:
a 2-1 loss for iraq after leading 1-0 at the half... second goal for bahrain was an own goal.
I dont really know what happened in the second half. I was really impressed with the way iraq played in the first half.
Inshallah better luck on the next game against korea, its a must win
1-2 for bahrain...motha f.... MOTHA F....., How on EARTH did we let them do that? And the second goal was an own goal, Beez the way the grassrolled OMG! I hope a nuclear drops over them
What a crappy performance today. The two goals were GIFTS for the Bahrainis.
Maan, our road is likely to come to an end even before it started. So disappointed.
There is still hope bro... just because they lost their first game, it doesn't mean that they dont have a chance of going up to the next round. most recent example is the world cup where spain lost their first game but still went up and won the entire world cup.
I saw how these guys really play in the first half and they have alot of potential.
What is this? 2-0 against N.Korea and that means our boys are out....from a straight 5 wins in the groups to two loses when it really matters
Sad thing. This is a proof for the fact that talent is not enough; you need structure and a decent coach. I am getting used to this kind of disappointments thanks to the incompetent IFA.
And the final result IS......3-0 to the N.Koreans
this is just sad...We are out before we even started
3-0, Qezerqet. 3ndi emthanaat o omma o bas hatha el sboo3 geserna kol mobara, etdamarat tara
all I can say is: 6ah 7ath hal itti7ad ilta3ban, damaraw il 6ooba il 3era8ia kullha.
And you know whose fall it is? its that f+++king coach!!! He let his son play and he can't even pass the boll right, We have pro players from Holland,Denmark and Sweden but he didn't let them play because he think they don't have the "Iraqi" spirit in them...jani jinal hishi modereb
