I wonder why Makino is in the centre of that poster, after all he is a fringe JNT player frozen out at Koln. Maybe he is popular with the female fans in the same way as Uchida is, although Uchida has achieved a lot more on the pitch.

It's mostly because Makino wears adidas, that is all.

Honda is most popular among female fans and he's not there, anyway. And Konno should fix that terrible teeth, ugh.

You underestimate Uchida's forces in Japan. He's leading the race by a wide margin with tours from Japan going to watch him sitting on the bench in Gelsenkirchen.

His female fans will be disappointed when they find out he's taken ;)

BTW, any video recaps of the Samurai Blue 2011? Such a good year for the Japan NT.

At least when Uchida decides to hang up his boots he'll have a promising career with Johnnys. :p

The 3rd match on June 12 will be crucial, because it will be away against the no.2 seed (Iran or South Korea). A win there would set Japan on their way.

What about Colombia? I thought Kirin Challenge was always 2 matches.

"Kirin Challenge" means just a friendly basically.

Kirin Cup, is a 3-nation friendly tournament.
So last year Japan, Peru & Czech's had a Kirin Cup. Whereas the game vs. South Korea in August was called Kirin Challenge Cup (just puts their name on it).

I just updated and played the PES 2012 game. the updated data pack includes Japan's new kit. I dunno why, but the game makes it look better than real Life. Although I'm still ain't all for the new kit just yet.

I noticed the change on my game too. tbh, it looks pretty sick on the game. If it looks close to that irl (in a match, not press conference) then i'll come around.
