Sorry, but some catch-ups are to be done.
And this could be useful for talking about eventual opponents.

Return leg Uzbekistan - Jordan today. The winner will face either Uruguay or Ecuador, unfortunately (the last time it was the Oceania winner, so New Zealand....)

I think Uzbekistan could be a bigger hit for AFC.

As of now, who is already qualified for the Brazil 2014 WC? I kniw host Brazil and the 4, including Japan, from Asia.
Anyone else already qualified, or on the verge to depending on today's result?

Italy needs a win, Germany, Switzerland and Netherlands all depending on today's result. Colombia needs a draw

This is incredible: Jordan had played well since 2011, but I didn't expect them to come this long way.

Jordan won at penalties, meh. I feel sorry for Uzbekistan since they were literally robbed of a regular goal along their WCQ last round but that's football. They had a chance today but failed.
Sigh of relief for Uruguay or Ecuador, anyway.

USA qualifies after beating Mexico 2-0 and Panama and Honduras draw 2-2. Glad to see both my teams set for Brazil.

Surprising Costa Rica: I wouldn't bet a Euro on them two years ago. I would expect Panama or Jamaica.

Meanwhile, Mexico risks of missing even the play-off against New Zealand.

I think after the WC he'll retire. Six months after the WC, there's the Asian Cup and a successor needs to be found.
