For all the rumors surrounding players leaving/coming to Boca Juniors.

Morel might be headed off to Mexico.
Ledesma is still wanted by Lazio.
Datolo might be sold and same goes for Neri Cardozo
Numerous teams are interested in Palacio.
    Maidana might be sold/loaned out.
A right back is wanted to add depth in case Ibarra gets injured again.
    Zanetti rumors
Acosta might be brought in to replace Palacio if he leaves
Midfielder Joffré Guerrón might be brought in from LDUQ

There are rumors that Caranta might leave, but I doubt both will leave. Boca has also talked to Getafe about getting Pato or at least Ustari on loan

This is what I've been hearing ... from various argentine sources.

The most firm prospects to arrive are:
    Guerron (LDU)
    Piatti (GELP)
    Calvo (back from loan)
    Krupoviesa (back from loan)
    Luciano Figueroa (Genoa)
    Lautaro Acosta (Lanus)
Clemente Rodriguez (trying to cut his tie with Russia)
    Pocho Insua (America),

    For those leaving:
    Boselli (Atlas)
    Neri Cardozo (Atlas)
    Ledesma (Italy)
Morel (could leave if Krupo or Clemente come back)
    Gracian (America)

Those are four very great players, and I'd be extremely upset to see any of them join Boca. Let's hope the worse for you guys, though it seems you guys always know how to buy good players in the market (unlike "others").

OH GOD! Please no Luciano Figeroa, mas gallina y amarga no hay por dios

I hope the Insua rumor is true. Guerron played very well today and will be a nice pickup, same with Ignacio Piatti, but do we need so many midfielders?? And I hope that Monzon and Ibanez don't get buried with the possible return of Krupo and signing of Clemente. I also think Acosta will only be taken in if Palacio ends up leaving

ya Piatti and Guerron would be great pickups while Acosta would be a decent replacement if Palacio leaves. Not a big fan of Figueroa and hopefully he's not wearing a Boca Juniors jersey during his career

I think Figueroa is a great player. He did a fantastic job in the National Team (especially in the Confederations Cup), River, and Rosario Central. In conclusion, if you guys don't want him and think he sucks, better for me. :D

Palacio leaves and we want Acosta to replace him? Good lord that's a massive downgrade.

Why the hell would Morel leave if Clemente comes back? Just play him at CB like they did when Clemente was on loan. It would be a big mistake letting him go.

Guerron would be a nice buy though.

I definitely think Morel needs to stay and he should play CB. we have Monzon at LB and we should let him continue to get more playing time. Clememnte coming in though will be a great pickup to help Monzon out and to backup/start at RB depending on what happens with Ibarra and his injury.

Acosta is a huge downgrade. It appears that Boca was going to offer $$$ + Boselli but that he is already going to be bought by Arsenal. However, I heard that Boca already has worked with Arsenal on getting him on loan.

Isn't Franzoia also supposed to come back? Maybe I'm mistaken, though. What is his status?

We have to remember that not only Palacio might leave, but Palermo is not getting any younger. Boselli may improve but this year he looked like he is not the answer, and he'll probably be gone. We need to reload offensively.

We need to get another fullback on the right side.

I rate Piatti as wayyy better than Acosta yet he ends up going to a much crappier team in Spain.

Re: Official Boca Juniors Transfer Threads

Since Acosta was considered a prime target, where do we look now? I like the kid from LDU but I'm not sure he alone would make up for losing RoPa. If worst case scenario popped up and we signed no one effective, I'd actually look at Datolo as a forward. He would have to work that much harder but he does have the wheels and the desire to run at defenders.

idk about Datolo as a forward.
But, we have Chavez who can play up top, same with Franzoia (coming back from his loan period)

Olimpo's Leandro Gonzales is someone who has been impressive ... very fast, skillful and YOUNG.

I would keep am eye on him to complement the squad.
