The main thing I am taking comfort in... Gaul to me has looked like our best defender so far (in this game). He seems to have decent distribution too.

I just got back from a soccer match and turn on the TV to see Mike Magee score an own goal.
I would love to see what halftime is like in the locker room, now I think they are going to play the blame game, this team reminds me of my squad last season, our coach was absolute garbage, he gave us instructions that didn't really make sense, so we played our own game, and the results were..

    L-L-L-L-L-L-D-L-L-L-W-W-D-L-L-L
Ended the season dead last, fired the coach, started the season and the results were..
    W-W-L-W-D-W-W-W-W-W-W-L-W-D
Our team was motivated and communicating.
And to be quite honest, we aren't such a talented team technically, but we still win games because of our deadly counters.
Today ended our season and we finished 3rd.

We know things aren't going right when our talisman, the great Mike Magee, has an own goal like that. Someday we'll all look back on this nightmare and laugh.

Ridiculous to have a game in Houston in the hot sun at this time of the year. What's wrong with a night game?

Somebody has put a curse on this team. We need to hire an exorcist to lift this Shyte.

You know, Magee is the most clinical finisher in training.

I don't know. Our guys are already looking tired. I'm expecting a steady diet of balls into the box.

Gaul and Walker look good but they just haven't had enough time with the team so that everyone's on the same page.

When will the British Olympic squad announce if Becks is joining them or not?

Alright what I've seen so far goal aside, Is a tired and clueless squad. They look like they are running on fumes, And there is no one getting a clear shot on the houston goal. And is it me or is our backline constantly looking for the linesmen and ref's help on offside or fouls calls? You would think after all these years they would get it in their heads that the refs are NOT gonna help us with anything. Continue playing don't raise your hands and look for a call damm it! Stop at the whistle! Ok if nakazawa gets on the field are we gonna be on official arena deatwatch?

What is Jordan's purpose on the team? He had a couple chances where he could have ran at a single fullback and decided to hold onto the ball and pass out. I just wish we had some more guys with the confidence to take a guy on and try to cause some havoc. Other than that, everything else is wait see. Gaul is looking better and better every game.

I've actually liked how Kenney Walker has looked so far. Gaul has been a bright spot as well. I think we're lucky that we're tied 1-1 at the half.

Frustrating. I’ll be honest we looked a lot like 2009-10 Galaxy out there, absorb the pressure, bend but don’t break defensively, score on the counter. We’re in desperate need of a lucky break or bad call in our favor.

I want to see Barrett and Buddle not be afraid to be a little selfish and try to get through Houston's defense. We need to be more direct.

You know for being the defending 2x SS and 2011 MLS cup champion and the standard of greatness in MLS it hurts me badly to agree with your statement.

LOL Bruce wants the team to pressure? We can't even hold the ball for more than 10 seconds, and our D are too slow.

Just got back to the computer. What happened to Walker? Is he injured or is it a coach's decision to bring in Stephens?
