Not a fan in general of vapors, but loving the 'classic' black/white colourway of these :D

Why did you choose to have your ID text in black?

My updated (small) collection of boots:

8 pairs at the moment, with the Puma King Finales and F50 Adizeros as the most recent purchases.

The Top left pair is my first ever pair of boots, a T90 Shoot JR.

The Green f30i and the blue/white CTR360s are TF shoes, the rest are all FG shoes.

got my VIIIs today. I'll post pictures later. The color is really interesting. I would describe it as 'raw salmon.' non-stock photos make it look much more pink/cherry-ish.

It's like the left side of that.

What size did you get? And how do they compare to the pathiqes in length and width?

I'm tempted to buy them.. You're a reliable guy, what do you think of them?

    Quick review on here perhaps?

Length wise they are the same width size the Vapor VIII is a bit narrow but that doesn't mean it wont fit a wide foot. I got a size 9 US and have a perfect fit, although you will notice that because of the shape of the toebox you might have a little bit of room up top. Really doesn't make a difference though.

I don't think I've used them enough to be able to make any assumptions but the boot doesn't feel as if it is going to be very durable. They are a very good boot but like I said were very over hyped.

I think you'll be happy with the Vapor VIII, and if any durability issues arise Nike has a very good return's system.

I do wonder what companies think regarding durability sometimes. How much do they test them? Do you think they'd use the same pair repeatedly or what?

Sadly, I think it's getting to the stage where companies are just focusing on 'performance' rather than a boot that is actually worth the RRP.

Like the AdiPowers, AdiZeros etc. It's such a shame as I get comfortable in a boot, wearing it regularly and enjoying them then the soleplate cracks, or the upper tears.

Anyway, the VIIIs and the LZs are definitely my must tries this summer. May also buy myself the CTR360 IIIs, they look fantastic too.

Make sure you get back to me about the VIIIs when you've worn them a bit more though!

    Niiiiiiice.

Those metallic colors like the Red one seen on the Laser IV and the first Maestri IIs are amazing.

If only Nike released a similar colorway for the Vapor line.

That's after one use on turf. The other boot has that same grey on the outside of the foot.

Also, a Blue/Silver Vapor would be great. There were like 3 or 4 blue MVIII's, but only marina ones since. Sad.

The blue marina IVs were amazing especially in the SL version.

totally forgot about those Vs! The Marinas were nice too, they just didn't seem like the pure blue like the lasers.
