Honestly, I'd grab my printer and disconnect the phone line.. and pack the Mini Van up and split

Ed and the league can pick up the tab the rest of the way

(I would refund my 4 season ticket holders though-- I do have a conscience)

The PASL equivalent of the teams Kenn listed would probably be last year's Vortex. Thrown out of two different arenas and had their home finale moved up a week.

However, their one win was the first shutout in PASL history.

Make some changes to the line up and the roster
#1 bench the coach he s played in 9 games and has taken 3 shots on goal
#2 Move Chris Williams to forward / Midfielder
#3 Move Coery Maret to a forward
#4 Move Myers back to a to a defender
#5 Move Kyle Martin to a defender
#6 get Kingsley Onwuka approved by the league and let him play
#7 Let peter pappas coach and let Krotee play in goal
this may not fix the team and make them win but I bet it would make the games closer and they would not get shut out again , the may even have a chance at beating the ambush , or Rochester this year

The Roar lost 13-5 to the Comets tonight but played far better than they did early in the season. Maybe the Roar will win one.

Not that I've seen any of the games, but it appears Onwuka played and scored tonight. That's a start.

After reading the article they seem to be legit players as well (as in not glorified rec players) which makes me think that maybe they truly are looking more long term. I'd expect them to be in more of a salary dump mindset.

Congratulations to the Roar, especially Peter Pappas, who has been a true professional in a difficult situation.

Could someone (of the 4,632 at the game, preferably) confirm that the teams DID NOT agree to exchange jerseys BEFORE the game?

Shocking. The Ambush lost pretty bad Friday by score to the Blast, but being at the game that score was misleading. It was 10-3 by beginning of 2nd qtr and remained 10-3 for nearly the entire 3rd qtr as well. Basically my point is other than a early boom and late garbage time goals the Blast and Ambush was a competitive evenly played game, unlike Blast-Roar games. Shocked and happy for the Roar not only winning, but pitching the shutout!! Go Roar!

What game were you watching on Friday? The Blast, despite playing every player that normally does not get field time, still had to hold the Ambush up for the full 15 rounds. No one there thought the Ambush were a threat to win, keep it close or score. The only goal they scored was tainted by a mis-communication between the referees on a restart. The only difference between the Ambush and the Roar are the head coaches.

Total and absolute utter BS.. No way in hell do the ROAR not only get their first win, but a SHUTOUT and over 4,000 supposedly in attendance? Sure... and no this is NOT SYD :)

Are these teams owned by the same "group"

Which is even more incredible when you consider the Ambush ended the game with only 2 points.
