I just want to see what the Front Office and Coaching staff has to say after this season. With the Champions League coming I seriously hope they are determined to improve the squad by dumping all the high salaries like Corrales and Khari so that the money can be reinvested in younger players. I am really excited to see the team play in CL. I just hope the team will do what is necessary to become competitive in region. With only a year until the stadium opens I don't see why the team cannot push to get a DP to help us out until then.

    3) Wondo tying the MLS scoring record
    4) 72 goals
    5) The Stanford game
    6) Every player playing until the final whistle
    7) Sweeping Seattle, RSL and going undefeated against Galaxy
    8) Losing the Amway logo
    9) 10 win pins!
    10) Going undefeated at the Buck during the regular season.

Sorry if I'm stepping on anyone's toes, it's just been a phenomenal season full of memorable moments. Although I would have loved hoisting the cup to be the capstone of our season, there is too much to be proud of to let not achieving that taint the memory of a remarkable season. We went from 14th place to 1st in a season.

Considering where we were for 3 out of 4 previous seasons, not sure how anyone can not be pleased with this team. There is still room for improvement and like every season, there is house cleaning to be done but I for one am proud of this team. To think it was just a year ago that an arch rival GK coach came into our thread posting his resume wanting Frank's job! Guess we won't be seeing anymore of that anytime soon! ;)

the only negative is that FY was not successful in integrating a true #10 attacking CM into the offense as was hoped at the beginning of the season. IMO, we can give JD/FY one more try to do this before the new stadium opens in 2014.

    2012 draft picks.

The Quakes selected Sam Garza Gen Adidas
with the 5th pick. DeLeon was still available (picked
by DC United with the 6th pick) but he wasn't a
    Gen Adidas signing.

Garza is good but I think injuries and a deep bench in his position kept him off the pitch in his rookie year.....

I never really figured out the salary cap rules but being on a GA contract, I don't think his salary goes against the cap like DeLeon's does so (for this league) that may be a good thing in the long run....

Maybe, DC United (i.e., Ben Olson) regrets that he didn't go out on the limb to make this happen ;)
