pretty funny, but got me thinking-who would be on our slowest XI?

slowest of all time-Ale Moreno. No question.

I sure others will chime in-if this was family feud I think our first captain would probably be the number answer (although I might disagree).

    First in with Tony Caig.

    Close thread!

Ok, if talking field player, yup Alejandro. You could clock his 40 time by using a Sun Dial!

he immediately popped into my head. Amazing how he got by that long with slow foot speed. I guess he just looked at guys mean and they were too scared to come down his side (see Kano Smith in 07 Cup).

I remember Cochrane being pretty darn slow even for a CB, but the mustache on Rhino 2.0 made up for it.

Foot speed! You don't need foot speed when you role like Waibel.

It's hard not to go with all forwards (I mean Weaver didn't make the team) and all defenders (Ryan Cochrane doesn't make the team...LOL)

I mean Cochrane, Robinson, Boswell, and Hainault and I have to pick the two slowest? Jaqua, Weaver, Old Ching, Moreno -- and I have to pick the slowest two or three?

Waibel at RB, Chewie at LB. I think those are givens. Caig in goal. Serioux at d-mid I think. Trying to decide whether to put Colin Clark at right mid, left mid or both? Attacking midfield has to be Koke I think.

i was ready for someone to post this one: i politely disagree!

for a chubby guy he can surely move/make runs on the open field in short bursts. he didn't have sprinter speed but he wasn't Moreno/Ching slow.

i have Landin flashbacks when i see Giles Barnes out there. he'll look to be dogging it then make a quick dart upfield (not comparing their actual speed, but there tendencies).

Ianni. I know he wasnt actually that slow, but like Boswell he has this running style that makes it look like he is not moving.

Landin had some pace. I remember when he got dispossessed one time, he chased that player down and earned himself a card at a most inopportune time. A red if I remember, or maybe was lucky to not get a red. I was pissed that he worked harder on retaliation than getting behind defenses.

He doesn't care what you call him. Just don't call him late to dinner.
