I think Basha has now a fix contract with Torino until 2014

edit: Morganella at Palermo now, of course

    is Seferovic back at Fiorentina?

Affolter is still on loan at Bremen

Ademi moved to Braunschweig in the 2. Bundesliga and already scored his first goal as a joker

spotted another mistake: double entry for Gelson

next edit: Ziegler is back in training with Juve

Klose has started the season in great fashion for Nürnberg, finally we're getting some solid competition for the central defence. The same goes for Schwegler who's captain of a team with 4 straight wins. He was never a favorite of mine while in the NT but I'd call him up instead of Gelson right now (although Salatic would be my 1st choice).

These our currently our NT eligible players who are starting (almost) game for their respective clubs in Europe's top 4 leagues.
    Goalkeepers: Benaglio
    Right Backs: Lichtsteiner and Morganella.
Central defenders: Eggimann, Klose, Von Bergen and Rossini.
    Left backs: Rodriguez and Berardi.
Central Midfielders: Xhaka, Schwegler, Inler, Behrami, Dzemaili.
    Strikers: Derdiyok

    Almost regulars and subs:
Migjen Basha (got his Serie A debut after almost seven years in Italy), Shaqiri, Nikci, Barnetta, Seferovic (Montella seems to like him, 2 appearances for Viola so far), Djourou, Kasami (2 PL apps. so far).

Injured: Senderos (made his comeback with reserve team vs Man U, Kasami scored the winner).

Not even close: Affolter and Ferati.

Might have missed some youngster but still, impressive stuff! Pretty sure we've never hade a full squad of players getting regular playing time in the top leagues!

And as a swiss right back hhe's got the perfect mentor in Lichtsteiner, hopefully he can leave on loan within a year. So Morganella, Koch, Widmer and Untersee.. Which one do you guys think is Lichtsteiner's future replacement?

Me, I'm really excited to see when Widmer finally debuts in the highest division.

Windsor committed to Princeton University. This is a great academic school. He has spent time with the Swiss U16 camps.

Gelson has agreed with a move to Sion. The new Sporting coach is not on his side

Padalino could move to GC, but has a contract till the end of the season yet at Vicenza

Those two moves could strengthen both squads. How about someone coming to Servette!

Servette is said to have contacted Zambrotta, but he rather will go to Sion as well. Maybe, Servette could get 1 or 2 players from Sion. Their squad is too big already

    Fournier mentionned two things
first) he wants more quality and less quantity... the squad is a bit too big at the moment. Indeed, some of Alves transfers like Ramizi weren't necessary as the squad wasn't really improved
second) he says they're looking into players who could strengthen the squad and he says Servette is lacking experience in some situations and he has to do some evaluations yet. There is not much money available of course, so I guess they'll try to sign 1-2 experienced players on a free transfer... such as Zambrotta

another player who has been rumoured at Servette is Bunjaku, but he is playing quite a good season in the 2nd Bundesliga, so a transfer is not very probable

The Tribune de Geneve carried this interview today. I wonder if at the Winter break, Servette will release around 5 players who are redundant. I am assuming that someone in their mid 30s will be arriving on a free transfer with an incentive laden contract. I think that either Zambrotta or Bunjaku would be great. I generally discourage short term loans, but is there a Swiss somewhere that needs playing time that would help?

Emeghara for example, but he refused both GC and YB for more money at Lorient...

Darwin Machis was also rumoured at Servette btw
