I want to understand why this guy, who hasn't accomplished anything in his career, can come to Rome and suddenly pretend that he's Maradona? This guy has:

    - fought with and shown disrespect to Totti when Totti has started ahead of him.

    - fought with and shown disrespect to Mirko Vucinic.

    - fought with and shown disrespect to Jeremy Menez.

    - disrespected your coach (Montella) who very clearly said that "the penalty taker is Pizarro"

Who the heck does this guy think he is? Did he even dare to think of behaving like this at AC Milan. I wouldn't even purchase him at this point. This guy is a cancer.

Yeah, he only showed his lower teeth yesterday all night...He thinks he's Inzaghi, but he is not....I am not a big fan of Pippo but at least he was a much better striker....

Saying that Montella took penalties from him without even asking his opinion is so selfish...also, he mentioned his Lazio PK - the guy doesn't even understand that the ball went in just because Muslera was so unlucky that day...

I hope there is a clause that if his behavious is destructive to the unity of the team we have the right not to purchase him - let him warm the bench for Zlatan, Robinho, Pato and Antonio, even for Pippo when he returns, at Milan!!!

I am tired of him, too.........We shouldn't start building our new Roma around him

I get the feeling the dressing room doesn't like him either.

is there any way we can get out of purchasing this idiot? pay a loan amount + interest? Or is this another way Sensi tried to cut costs and screwed us in the end?

He is a cancer by every means. Like the day he came, and you notice problems in lockerroom especially in our attack department. Totti, Vucinic and Menez are more humble then him. I hope we dont buy him from Milan somehow

I was actually coming on here and was going to make a thread about this exact subject, but I see you beat me too it. Thank god, you hit on all my points.

In general the teams chemistry this year is shit and I blame Marco for alot of it and the friction CR had with some of the players.

God o god I just want this season to end.

Borriello thinks he is one of the best players on the planet. This could not be any further form the truth. His statistics are mediocre and his play in general are not really bringing anything of value to the squad. I don't want to sign him and since his goals have dried up, his true value is now being seen.

I am just happy that you guys picked him up and not us. He was rumored to come over to Juve at the beginning of the season. He is no where as good as he thinks he is. Prandelli would do good to leave him at home.

He fits in well with the rest of the arrogant clowns on this squad at the moment.

I don't think so...probably he's doing more or less well with DDR due to NT ties...I'm sure Vucinic and Menez prefer to play with Totti than with him

I'm sure we've all met that dickhead who thinks he is gifted at everything. Who thinks he should be everyone's priority. That he is better than everyone at everything but when in reality he is, at best, decent. To me, Borriello reminds me of that kind of guy.

I don't see him as a overwhelming egocentric person on the pitch. I rarely see him complain on the pitch. What he does off the field, i don't know. He shouldn't be considered for the penalty as others are more qualified. The only reason why he may feel superior is bc he thinks he's the only natural pure striker we have. Montella needs to address him and lay down the law.

Mike is right about the Milan reference though...he would of been hanged if he was there today and took a penalty from Ibra.

Montali sat Borriello down told him to think more about the team and less about himself.

Yeah. There is no one untouchable on this squad anymore. None that have shown it this season at least.

    That needs to be known

Once again, Borriello is just maintaining the status quo on this squad. This was a squad chalk full of self-centered, egomaniacs long before Borriello arrived here, so it doesn't surprise me that he's become a douche as well. There's simply no unity or priority placed towards the good of the group. Whether it's Borriello, Vuci, Totti, Menez, Mexes, etc., there is always someone bitching and moaning about how they didn't like the fact that they were subbed off early, or not given the start, or being played out of position, or blah blah blah. Too many guys on this team seem to feel as though they have a sense of entitlement.

Not very fair throwing Mexes into that rant. As I recall it he sat himself on the bench all last season without complaining and even shed a tear when the title slipped away.

This kind of comment is really uncalled for, please keep it to yourself next time.

Never expected to see a comment like that on this forum...If it were a Laziale forum than it would be understandable with all of their Nazi and Racist characters but at a Roma forum? Undefendable...

Fine, subtract Mexes' name from that group then. I think most of you get my point nevertheless though. This squad is simply loaded with too many self-absorbed individuals. We're probably the least humble team in Serie A.
