That is what I was thinking when I initially saw it but would the equipment guys really put a piece of tape with the player's number over the club crest instead of say over top of the Adidas logo or anywhere else on the shirt? Even if Sergio Ramos and Casillas are at odds with Mourinho I'm sure they'd never do something to dishonor the club like that. Pepe and CR7 are on the other side of the fault line and are both tight with Mourinho but does that really mean they are anti-club? I definitely wouldn't put that douchy a move past them. Hmmm...things to ponder.

Sevilla up 4-0 at half time in the Seville derby! I was going to tune that game in for what I thought would be an entertaining second half but I guess not...

Oh, definetly not. The Spanish/Portugese division there makes it really easy to find things to say about Real to unsettle them. They've grown used to it though and are still playing some nice football at times this season, props to them tbf.

    Well, here's some images I found if you want more proof;

And here is an AS article on that Ronaldo pic, the kit man just forgot to remove the '7' they said. http://www.as.com/english/articulo/cristiano-replaces-real-madrid-badge/20121117dasdenspo_2/Ten

    That's a big compliment to C. Ronaldo.

If you subtract penalties, Falcao isn't even among the top 5 La Liga scorers this season:

    Messi.......... 16
    Ronaldo ......8
    Aduriz..........7
    Hemed........ 7
    Higuain.......7
    Falcao and three others..6

At the same time, Ronaldo isn't exactly in another league...

With Barcelona having an early kickoff it gives us a chance to watch other teams later on Tuesday.

    Juventus-Chelsea looks quite interesting...
    1- Shakhtar ............ 7 pts
    2- Chelsea .............. 7
    3- Juventus ............ 6
    4- Nordsjælland ..... 1

If Juve defeats Chelsea and Shakhtar wins...
    1- Shakhtar ........... 10 pts
    2- Juventus ............ 9
    3- Chelsea .............. 7
    4- Nordsjælland ..... 1

At which point, in MD6 Shakhtar v Juventus could conspire agree end in a draw and Chelsea would go out no matter what they do against Nordsjælland.
(Juve would hold the head-to-head tiebreak over Chelsea)
It would mark the first time in the Champions League era that the defending champion failed to get out of the group stage.

Sometimes it's fun to speculate. :)

The most revealing thing about that non-controversy is that LPB media and fans would consider it entirely plausible that Crissy would put himself above the club. Let's face it, it doesn't take a 'wardrobe malfunction' to imagine Crissy thinking of himself before the team. Everyone sees it on the pitch itself all the time.

If Lille hang on then Valencia would definitely advance before they kickoff against Bayern. They have the head-to-head tiebreak over BATE.
Bayern does not currently hold the tiebreak over BATE so they would need a draw today to advance. A draw would also put Bayern over Valencia on top of the group.

So as it stands now, Barcelona, Valencia and Malaga will continue into the next round helping La Liga's coefficient.
Isn't there a fourth team representing La Liga?

Are you talking about the team who's crest has a number 7 on it?

Valencia already through but I'd like to see them win the group. All 4 La Liga teams can still go through as the top seed. Depending on how things play out over the next two match days, there could be some great round of 16 match-ups.

Too bad about BATE's result. Now the Valencia - Bayern match loses its importance.

BATE wins the award for most inconsistent team in the CL group-stage.

    lol
How great would an entire team of Ronaldo's be. All of them calling for the ball (but never getting it) and when one of them scores he celebrates by himself while his teammates sulk.

Oh my, Shakhtar's first goal apparently was scored when Shakhtar were supposed to be giving a drop ball back. Luiz Adrinao reached the ball, rounded the keeper and slotted home easily. Lots of talk about it.
