    Omar was terrible.

    Bradley was boss.

    Green was an understandable letdown.

    ******** the ref.

My only complaint about Green is that he is not very good at passing.

Damn you Klinsmann, call up Arriola!

    My thoughts:
    - Incredible first half...the shift of formation surprised me and worked wonders in terms of tempo and possession. It was poetry in the motion for the most part.
    - Pathetic second half. We did a terrible job handling Mexico's pressure and couldn't win the ball back quite as well as we should have.
    - Bradley is incredible.
    - My heart rate is going to spike every time Omar has to make a pass in Brazil.
    - Wondolowski will keep getting looks.

Oh well, I'll settle for a 3-2 win.

3-2. Not too bad. I don't know why JK decided that we'd be better served on defense having 2 lead-footed trees in the back (subbing off Besler).

Also...LD looked not good at all. Green was completely overwhelmed and not very good. At fault partially for triggering the 2nd goal. Clint was good in the first, nonexistent for the first 35 minutes of the 2nd, and then really good the last 10 minutes. Bradley was fantastic in the first and not so hot in the second.

Lost our poise and shape after a strong first half.

Recovered a bit to push the game a bit, but shaky in the back.

Pathetic first 30 minutes. Much more back and forth the last 15-20.

    Gonzo sucked. Dempsey was invisible.

Green at least showed he is fast and will take people on. He has a long way.

I don't think Green showed enough to be considered for the 30 man roster, let alone the final 23.

Bradley looked incredible for most the game. Beckerman solid. EJ was poor aside from a great finished on the offside call.

Wondo probably helped his case a little bit. I think he makes the 30 man camp at this point.

Not sure anyone really moved their stock much either way.

Leave Gonzo out and Green needs to develop a little more.

    That is all.

Just figured it out - the new kits look like the old NFL Pro Bowl uniforms.

    Yedlin way better than Beltran

    Both dmids were good.

    Bradley free is the bomb

Omar really is bench material only

Dempsey uninterested Donovan is better there

EJ and Wondo played well but it's hard because EJ has no brains but Wondo has no speed

Loved the first half, but wanted to see how we would do up 2 in the second. Result? Not good. Hope that JK subbed Besler to see which of Omar and Clarence would be a better option, because you cannot start both of them.

Green had some flashes, but it is his first game and he is 18 so calm down. Hope yedlin gets more chances, but he has to hustle to cover the crosses.

    Bradley is a beast.

Also, Wondo is better than EJ. Much better. EJ was killing attacks constantly.

Green wasn't great, he had that I'll advised header that lead to the goal and didn't look strong enough when defending, but you can see he's got some serious talent. After he settled in he was running at their RB every time he got the ball, could have had a penalty too. He needs to hit the gym though.

I'm excited to have him, whether he makes this WC team or not.

And I thought Yedlin was great. Dangerous going forward and quick enough in defense to stop the Mexicans from really challenging him.

I'd also add that I thought Wondo was fantastic in the first half. If the team is clicking like they were then, he's a great guy to have finishing attacks. If they're struggling I might prefer someone who can help creat a little more, but he definitely has a part to play.

Bradley was the best player on the field by far.

Inconclusive showing from Green. If you were expecting him to cement his place with a 30 minute cameo, well I don't think that's very realistic. He showed nice pace and hints of attacking ability.

Maybe I'm alone here, but I really wouldn't mind seeing Mo Edu in the 23. Always liked him as a pure defender. He's a presence out there. I thought he was decisive and effective in his limited minutes. The issue is the numbers game at DM. Bradley is a mortal lock. Beckerman, Jones, and Williams all in the mix. Someone will get left out.

Think this team will look a lot better with Jozy in the 9 slot.

    I'm not sure that's true, but I KNOW that Beckerman+Mike >>> Edu+Mike

    In fact, Beckerman+Mike >>> Jones+Mike

I think Edu would have saved Omar's Bacon on that first goal.
