Apparently having a pair of idiots as Prime Minister and Chancellor, with PPI miss-selling, Libor fiddles, Interest rate swap fiddles, (and miss-selling), the economy plunging into a triple-dip recession and the constant threat of Piers Morgan returning to Britain due to US gun laws, you'd have thought we've got enough problems, wouldn't yer.

    Apparently not...

Funnily enough we used to have horsemeat during the war. Mum mother used to buy it down Peckham Rye market. There's nothing wrong with it as such EXCEPT when you describe something as Beef and it then turns out it's 100% horsemeat. Well, 100% of the 25% beef in a beef lasagne is horsemeat anyway.

They eat it on 'la continent' quite extensively. In fact in some countries it's meant to be a delicacy BUT that's horsemeat that's been reared to be eaten. What we're talking about here is the possibility of horses from knacker yards, some of which have been given drugs which aren't meant to be let into the human food chain AT ALL.

It looks like it's a matter of a European-wide system of fraud as well with companies from all OVER Europe being dragged in.
