With two overly talkative broken english colour commentators for the Real v Celta match, this channel is sure the pits. Anyone who never saw Roberto Carlos play should not be commenting on football - utterly dreadful.

If you paid enough attention you would know exactly what i was talking about. Of course he played with Roberto and he pointed that out to the moron in the booth with him. Did you by any chance watch the game?

Did you by any chance read what you wrote?

You wrote 'two' , Bodo Illgner is one of the two commentators, correct? Then you wrote "Anyone who never saw Roberto Carlos play should not be commenting on football - utterly dreadful". This can only mean that you thought Illgner never saw Roberto Carlos play football.

Other commentator is Rafa Usain (sp?) who used to be GolTV. He's Argentinian, he's a big Estandiantes fan. Pretty sure, he's seen more football than you ever have - including Roberto Carlos.

    ok, What was said then?
Cause i watched the game and didn't catch anything peculiar. Only Roberto Carlos reference I heard was after Ronaldo's goal when Rafa asked Bodo if he ever dealt with a ball that swerved like that?.. then Bodo replied with Roberto Carlos and Clarence Seedorf

whoever made the decision to put Bodo in the commentary boothe is an IDIOT...
he speaks broken English at best.. not just with an accent.. I respect Bodo as the legend he is..but IMAGINA are idiots again in their choice of PxP man.... BODO is EXCELLENT as a pundit.. but DO NOT put him as the 2nd commentator... shows again that IMAGINA treat the english language channel of BeIN as an after thought.

lets not even begin on match choices this weekend...

BeIn should have branded themselves the LATIN football channel... NOT the International Sports channel.. because under IMAGINA.. everything is Latin centric..

the Npower Championship is but a faded memory on this channel...only when their producers ARE AVAILABLE do they broadcast matches... we missed the whole xmas calendar because these idiots took the SPANISH winter break off also..(i hope i didnt offend anyone there)

    BeIN has PROBLEMS.. big problems..
but the big sheik wants to break into America... with the addition of CurrenTV and the expansion of 5 addition news bureau's in US.. maybe someone will realize that IMAGINA is not the company to go with... fire them.. get rid of Schoen and Hudson.. and TRULY become an INTERNATIONAL SPORTS Channel in the USA...

my comment on the locker room program:

    • Welcome back JSl.. handled those idiots well.. kept a balance better than before.. but HUDSON.. is still in LALA land.. needs to go.. IANPAULJOY is good.. but damn step off the messi la liga Hudson worship... you look like an idiot following him..
    • Keep Jabba the Schoen away from this show.. at all costs..
    • Ross Dyer..needs to be more active in the conversations.. you are the most experienced commentator here yet are the quietest.
    • Limit the la liga worship.. yes.. i know that is what you have.. but YOU ARE THE INTERNATIONAL CHANNEL.. have an opinion on everything.

The reason they get Bodo, Clarence and Roberto Carlos is because they are "local" residents.

Illgner lives in Boca Raton and I think Seedorf and RC own condos in Miami Beach (along with Nesta and Maldini ... Kaka now has a penthouse in Sunny Isles Beach).

Deprive english language audiences of a good match by offering the shallow pair of ray and phil for Juve v Milan game - brilliant.

It is best to completely ignore those that try to shove foolishness down the throat of others. Never argue with a fool, onlookers may not be able to tell a difference - Mark Twain.

For the record - My utmost respect to Rafa, Bodo and Ross. I wouldn't refer to any of these three as a moron.

Beyond utterly absurd. This dreadfully low standard is awful and a massive negative for a so-called international channel.

I don't know why you watch the LockerRoom when any mention of La Liga makes you so . Especially since FSC has a similar show, except heavily EPL-centric, on the same night.

If I go to FSC I know exactly what I'm going to get, EPL. If I go to beIN Sport I should hear them talk about the leagues they cover (snicker) like La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1, the Championship, etc. Instead it's about 45 minutes of Barca or Real, 10 minutes of the rest of La Liga and 5 minutes of everything else.

That's why I stopped watching after two episodes.

Oh yea, i forgot those that believe in the never ending spiral of mediocrity in this nation are in the majority. Since i'm also a staunch advocate for better infrastructure, improved transportation system, better healthcare and increase in education funding - what job should i apply to?

The rest of the english speaking world get first rate journalistic commentary and what is on offer in the US? A drek like ray hudson just to appeal to the dumbed down twits amongst us who feel the need to be entertained with childish antics rather than be treated like adults with fully formed brain. Bloody pathetic.

    Idiocy in its truest form.

Your *snicker* I guess is implying that they don't really cover any league apart from La Liga because they don't cover it equally to La Liga.

When FSC covered Ligue 1 & Serie A I don't remember it getting equal coverage as EPL. FSWR was still all about EPL, replaying EPL highlights at the bottom of the hour before even showing highlights of other leagues they "covered" even once. They didn't get around to showing highlights of the Argentine league until Tuesday (for games played Saturday and Sunday). The Monday night show with Cohen and Wynalda was also 90% EPL, 10% MLS, 0% everything else.

Yes my snicker is in reference to their coverage of other league combined compared to La Liga.

FSC was EPL centric absolutely, but we got more Serie A live games per weekend than we do with beIN Sports. This was consistent too.

Everybody in here knows your view on this. Since GOL TV started. I don't know what you are trying to accomplish by opening thread after thread about how Hudson sucks. Write to Bein , apply for the job, i don't know- you seem like the guy who has very high opinion about himself- figure it out what can you do to make them change. It's not our fault that you think that Bein is a failure and they didn't satisfy your standards- so don't punish us with your continuous bi!tching. However, I respect your opinion.

The whole "if you dont like it, then you do it better" line is assinine! Theyre not saying they can do it better. They're saying there are better options out there that probably cost as much or in the same range. Its called an international feed. They should use it in my opinion, it doesnt mean I could do a better job.
