I used to think that the premiership would not be a good fit for Neymar, but I have since changed my mind due to the following reasons:
    • Chelsea now has a creative midfield (Mata, Oscar and Hazard) that can feed Neymar.
    • Everyone would play for Neymar just as everyone at Barca plays for Messi.
    • Neymar can become greater than Messi if he plays in the best league in the world with a strong supporting cast which Chelsea has assembled in recent months.
I'm not too certain about the last bullet, but it is not impossible.

    what about Torres?
Right the most attacking Chelsea playing is 4 2 3 1
    --------------------- Torres -------------------
    ----- Hazzard ----- Oscar -------- Mata -----
    ------------- Mikel --------- Ramirez---------

    Now if They bought Neymar,
1- either Hazard or Mata or Oscar should be on bench, or Neymar on bench?
2- unless they will play with 4 midfielders and rest Torres on bench?
3- or they will have to sell off Torres or Mata?
Hence NO to Chelsea, NO to Real Madrid are packed with a lot of big names and Neymar shall be on bench or limits in play time)
YES ... Neymar is best to go to eitehr Barca, or PSG

Barca would be ideal for Neymar, but I just can't how Neymar can develop at Barca if his job will be to just feed Messi. A year ago, I thought the chefs at Barca could could cook enough meals to feed both Neymar and Messi, but unfortunately, Messi's appetite has grown so much that Barca is more in need of another chef than an eater. That's the problem. If Neymar goes to Barca, his primary job will be to feed Messi and help him become the greatest player of all time.
I think Neymar needs to go to a team where everyone else will work hard to feed him the ball. At Chelsea, this can happen now since they have Mata, Oscar and Hazard. They just need to get rid of Torres who plays well only for his country these days.

Here are the top choices for Neymar:
    1. Chelsea
    2. Madrid
    3. Barca
    4. Manchester United
    5. PSG

Maybe and may be not ... Look at Brazil97/98 Ronaldo played off behind Romario and he still shone bright ,,, and then Barzail 99 and 02 Rivaldo was behind Ronaldo and he did quite ok as well ... Or Zidane feeding Ronaldo at Rea 03-05l but he was still shining ...

Look if Neymar will be developped right ,,, waht about if Messi start feeding Neymar and make him better? Or why not you think, Neymar will go and feed CR7 or Benzama at Real- even worse, no? On top of the fact Mourinho is very stubborn in holding his XI fixed (since last year) with Kaka, Sahin /Modric on bench?

Everything shall happen andit's all up to Neymar to adapt ... and up to the coach (at new club) to play him right

Everyone keeps saying that Barca is the best team for Neymar and maybe that's true, but I am not sure how his confidence would be affected when his primary role would be to feed Messi. Neymar is a special player who needs to remain daring and confident in order to realize his potential. I do think that he could benefit from playing alongside a player like Messi, but at what cost? I dare to say that although it is a very remote possibility, Neymar has the potential to be better than Messi due to his unique skill set. Look what happened to Alexis Sanchez. He is nowhere near the player the player he was in Italy. He is a lot more conservative now and is not as explosive as he once was. Why is that? Maybe, Neymar would do very well at Barca since Messi is very unselfish.
As for Madrid, I don't think Mourinho and CR7 will remain there long as they both want to return to the premiership.

    What about Juve ?

Probably the only top team that lacks a top class forward, and the 5 men midfield with Pirlo at the helm would be amazing to feed Neymar. Juventus offense creates a lot of chances but a lacks a great finisher and a creating forward (Vucinic is great on the ball but he's also as slow as my grandma). I don't think Zlatan would welcome him at PSG. I definitely think Juve is the best fit : lack of a superstar/great team

I don't think the Serie A is the best league for Neymar as the league is struggling to recover its prestige. I think it will be Chelsea or Madrid. A report came out today that PSG has offered 100M euros for CR7. If that is true, Madrid will probably also sell Kaka to PSG and then will have enough money to buy both Neymar and Falcao. The report also stated that PSG will also go for Mourinho. I think Neymar will go to Chelsea, Madrid or Barca.

Agree so ... and Pirlo will only be his grandpa when Juve would have collected enough money to get Neymar.

Now if Mourinho + CR7 would go to PSG then I would say Real shall be the BEST place for Neymar to land in ... more so than Barca.

Its been awhile since ive posted on bigsoccer but heres my opinion...
The team I would want Neymar to join is Barcelona and i think its best for him, people say that Neymar will be under the shadow of Messi but i dont think that, I believe Neymar and Messi can get along because Messi has a good attitude and is humble while Neymar praises him alot... but the thing is Barcelona is built around Messi and i dont know how Neymar will go with that, and Messi is 25 in his prime years so he will probably still be the man of Barcelona for a few more years until his late 20s... By then Neymar will be in his prime and he will be the best while Messi will become more of a midfielder once he loses his speed.
Before I use to say Neymar will become better than Messi, I still do think he has the potential but for that he needs to go to Europe now and become a better player and reach his maximum potential. Messi scored 73 goals last season I think that is like the record, he has probably surpassed Maradona in my opinion and will give Pele big competition depending on how he goes in 2014 World Cup... So for Neymar to become better than Messi thats preety much like saying he will become the best ever which aint easy.

PSG - I think Neymar will do good there, for the forward line they will have Neymar, Ibra, Gameiro and Lucas Moura, that will be strong... Plus Neymar will have Lucas and Thiago Silva who are Brazilian... and Neymar will be the man of the team there.

As for Neymar going Real Madrid I dont think he will get along with C.Ronaldo so while CR7 is there i dont see Neymar doing any good with him. But CR7 is 27 years old so I think he only has about 2-3 more seasons left of him being in top-form.

Even Though Oscar is doing good in EPL, Neymar does not suit it because he has more of the Ronaldinho style with tricks and dribbles, while Oscar plays a different style thats why I think he adapted really fast to it.

But Neymar really needs to go to Europe he is just wasting time in Brazil while he can be getting better and learning new stuff... If I dont see Neymar in Europe in 2013 i will be dissapointed... I think thats the best choice.

I think neymar should avoid Spain. Spain is a terrible championship for those who do not speak their language. england have more air play and for neymar, who isn`t very physical strong, is the ideal.

Barca is feeding Messi. Neymar should be wise enough to avoid going there, unless he does not want to dethrone messi like cr7 is trying. Every player in barca knows and admit their inferiority and loyalty to messi as they being told from day one that the club is 100% behind messi and they will do whatever it takes to make him the best the game has ever seen. Everyone is a slave to.messi despite the decieving image of messi as humble. Legends can be created and barca will do anything to make messi the greatest.

Hence neymar to go there is a sign of inferiority and a loss of dignity. He should go to Chelsea or stay in santos til the world cup. Big no to real madrid and psg.

If Neymar wants to be the best player in the world he needs to go to Barcelona.

Neymar should go to Barcelona, he has more chances to win any major silverware in there in European football compared to Chelsea .

but that is the challenge. Go to a team that win easly every games is not very prestigious. Why Messi don`t leave Barça and go to other championship? Cristiano Ronaldo was the best player in Man utd and is the best player in Real Madrid. Go to Barça and be just "one more" in the team I don`t think is the best for Neymar.

La liga is just 3 teams. Barça. Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. Valencia and Malaga are far behind. Every thing else are strugllin to survive. In premiership every team fight to win and play in a more open way.

If he wants a challenge he can go to every other team, if he wants to actually win something and collective/personal awards then it's natural he goes to already a top team.

Aletico only managed to be a contender this year, but look there will be like 20 more games to go and Real have all the power to come back strong ...

i was quoting what he say in his his comment that england has more air... la liga champion for the past few years is madrid and barcelona since valencia is not top 4 anymore and villareal who use to be good club now turn up in 2nd division... the same should go to epl.. every team fight than the last winner would be manchester or chelsea or you could add city... liverpool is dead, arsenal will only be top team but will never win it... the problem with la liga is that the difference between level of the top 2 to the rest of the liga team...

on top of that.. bpl is always interesting but like la liga.. la liga = madrid / barca ... bpl = manchester / chelsea ... this 2 team dominate epl... only last season city end up win it....

cristiano is playing in a great team... manchester united.. and that is not small club... that is big team and he shine in a big team.. than he join another bigger team... real madrid... both real madrid and manchester is top 3 club in the world.. and in my opinion, manchester, real and barca is top 3 club right now...

first it's true that ManU and Chelsea dominated EPL in last 7yearsbut in last decade at least 3clubs with arsenal winners

last but not least the main difference with EPL is that the two horse race Real/Barca left the closest teams 3 and 4 with 30 to 40 points behind. In EPL top2sometimes a few points and from 1 to 3 or 4 only 10-20points max

Now if you try to derive 40points = 13,14games no lost ! meaning Real and Barca only required to play 25games a season to decide who among them as winner the other just continued the rest 13.14games to see which teams will be relegated!!!!

I don't think Neymar should go to Barcelona, he needs to go to a team that will indulge him to an extent. Manchester United would be good. At Barcelona the presure would be too much and they may bench him initially like they did with Henry.

First Henry was old when joining Barca. Secondly, he was "forced" to play as wide left FW that he needs time to adjust to new team, new role

Neymar is a natural FW can play on either side and even behind the striker, and he is still VERY YOUNG.

With Benitez now coaching Chelsea, and that made the LAST CHOICE to join them. Benitez was a conservative and catenaccio guy ... who could not turn nor back Neymar to become a greta player there - especially he got too many FW/AM at his disposal Hazard, Mata Oscar Lampard Malouda Sturridge and Torres
