That's not going to get it done. Now they have to face them two more times. Not good.
Why exactly are there two more matches?
Because that pair of matches was to determine the Clausura champion (essentially the second half champ). The next match is the promotion final between the Clausura champion who is now Irapuato and the Apertura champion (first half champs), Tijuana. If Tijuana had won today they'd have been champs of both halves and there wouldn't have been a need for the next round. So the good news is they get a second chance. Bad news is, they need to use it.
You get a second shot Xolos don't blow it. GO XOLOS!
Thanks for the clarification.
Yeah, I'll be rooting for them to finish them off this time around...good thing is they get to host the very last match.
They need to look at the game film, work on their offense, and for the love of all things Xolos, PLAY SOME DEFENSE. Can't stress it any more.
The second leg is in Tijuana now correct?
Tomorrow around 10 AM pac time will know the times & dates.
I hope the 2nd leg is played on Sunday, I'll buy the tix tomorrow in Caliente stadium or xolos offices at pueblo amigo.
I may have to take my first cross border trip...
i must say, i am quite excited by the fact that either Irapuato or Tijuana will be in the first division. I feel bad for Leon though. They are always "so close".
What a fu@##% mess at the xolos offices to buy tix, waited in line from 8am to 6 pm (9hrs), & they posted a sing saying "boletos agotados", & then they closed the offices. There were about 1500 more people waiting in line, when they close & like me, didn't get any tix. Many scalppers were buying tix all day long, comming back almost in front of the line to buy 3 more tix several times & offering tix in the surroundings. (3 tix per person was the limit).
There is NOT respect for the soccer fans by the xolos management, letting touts do their bussines in front of everybody, & only having 3 security officers to control the crowd.:
I do not know why they do not sell the tix thru the internet. Do you??:
Totally lame. After reading this, I'm glad I didn't go there to try to get tickets. Sorry to hear that man.
And yes, Xolos need to get with the program on the web. Their merchandise link on the team website has been down for like over a year. They should have tickets for sale on the internet too. Pathetic.
Just checked craiglist, assholes are selling tickets for $100 a pop for the promotion game.

So it all comes down to Saturday at home?
a co-worker of mine is dating a girl whose dad works directly under Hank so he gets tickets all the time. he actually came to me today and asked me if i wanted to go but i declined. going to a friend's graduation party instead. and besides, most Xolo fans piss the hell out of me.
First leg ended 0-0.
No away goals rule.
It's only fair that the title is decided in the home of Los Xolos. This is it, boys. Either close the deal, or enjoy another year in the LDA. Your choice, make it a good one.
C'mon mother fudgers! FORZA XOLOS!
how the hell was that not a goal?
